Lots of action in the last two months. In early December, our publisher sent us feedback on our first draft of the book chapters from their technical reviewers... We've been incorporating feedback and we rewrote an entire chapter because we felt it was not solid enough. I also gave a talk in Ottawa this week... To read more about this, follow the link... ;) |

The last few weeks have been talks and workshops galore... Last month, I gave a talk at Agile Tour which I've already blogged about, the following week, Nov. 3rd, I was at CASCON in Toronto with the co-authors of the distributed Scrum book and today, Nov. 18th, I gave two talks in Ottawa as part of a local event for the global internal IBM Agile AoT conference. As I talked about briefly in my last blog entry, I'm currently working on a book with the IBM QSE Scrum Community and two colleagues at IBM. After many months of... negotiations... begging... collaboration... oh god, I'm at a loss for words to describe what we've been through to be able to get this available to people. One day, I should blog about this. But finally, today... July 23rd 2009... The day is finally here when we can publish our chapters online and make them available for external feedback. |

On October 27th, I gave a talk at Agile Tour in Montreal and it was my first "official" conference talk. Better yet, this was my first talk that I've done with material from our book, "A practical guide to distributed Scrum". What did I think of the experience? Well, this wouldn't be much of a teaser if I said it right on the front page... ;) |

As some of you may have noticed, I don't have a chance to update the site often. That's because earlier this year, I joined a group of people that are writing a book on how to use Scrum in a distributed environment. This has been a great experience for me up to now. In this blog entry, I'll share some of the joys and pain I've had since I joined this group of people. |
